Once we were back from New Mexico, we had an anniversary to celebrate! Cody and I passed our 7th wedding anniversary on July 16th. We were able to go out to eat some seafood in Port A, then went for a drive down the beach (and I snuck my tripod and camera in the car to document the date), and stopped for a soda and snickers bar for dessert like we used to do when we lived in Uvalde while dating. Thanks Aunt Katie for babysitting!
Tyler reached a milestone in July too! You see, we found ONE Tyler-sized hotwheels bike while we stopped at the Walmart in Ruidoso for a frozen pizza. It took him a few weeks, but he mastered bike riding and now follows his Bubba all over the place!! Congrats Tyler!!
biker brothers on matching hotwheels bikes!
Colton also spent a week at VBS, and says he can't wait for next summer! He also wants to try out more than one VBS. This was taken on "wear purple" day!
We had TWO birthday parties in San Antonio for two of our friends' sweet little girls, that meant back to back weekend trips up to San Antonio. For the second of the two, it was at the Landa Library park, that was such a fun place!
After the party, we headed over the to Children's Museum, we hadn't been since Tyler was a baby!
I didn't snap many pictures because I was just enjoying the moment of being with the boys as they were discovering and doing many hands-on things, but they STILL love the mini HEB there...
We met up with Aunt Lindsey to bring Lexi home for a week with us, they had tickets to the wax museum, and SO GRACIOUSLY bought a few extra tickets for us to go with them. Tyler slept on my shoulder the whole time, but Colton had fun meeting some celebrities!
making muscles with the president!
and Superman!
Once Lexi was here, we spent our first outing at the beach with cousins and second cousins of mine from my dad's side!
And Tyler wore his hair spikey to church!
