First grade!!!

Colton has started first grade! The weekend before, he had quite a few jitters.  But by the time he was up and dressed, and posed for obligatory photos, he was ready to go! His teacher is wonderful and he comes home to tell us everything he's learned.  He seems to particularly hang on to math, science, and social studies information, which is pretty cool to me, but I make to sure to get him to read every evening too!!!

*sniff sniff* It sure is bittersweet.  But with Colton, it's so much fun! He's never been shy or too scared to try anything, and his little brain is like a sponge.. he's just turning into a fine little person!!!
