His eyes got watery and I thought we were about to have another bedtime argument when he said "I... I have a feeling I need to express". Giggling on the inside at the "I need to express" that came out of his mouth, I asked him what was up, sweetly patting his leg.
He took a deep breath, looked me squarely in the face and said "I don't feel.... like going to bed!"
Silly kiddo!! Such serious stuff!

For example, being too short for the water fountains at our favorite park, Tyler chooses to slurp from the "dog water fountain"...

You're not going to believe this, but just this afternoon, I thought about how you used to put "funnies" on here and how I missed reading them! You must have read my mind ;) (What made me think of that was way back when you first started the funnies, I remember thinking about how much fun it is going to be to hear stuff like that coming out of my little baby girls' mouths and here we finally are! Haha!)
