Just a little tid bit...

We have been enjoying summer! I've finally finished my online training for my certification, BUT have yet to even had an interview.  I'm getting a little nervous since school starts in a month.  But I've got a plan B and C ready to put into action if plan A doesn't work out.  Financially speaking, B & C don't look as great as A, but you never know, right?!

Okay, enough of that mumbo jumbo worrying.

As many of you may be experiencing, it's HOT this summer!!! I mean, HOT then factor in the coastal humidity.  PHEW! We're melting!

We renewed our aquarium membership last month, and since the last time we went, they've knocked out the playground and replaced it with a splash park! With the membership, visits are free, so the boys and I spend the afternoons there, trying to stay cool.

Other times, we just stay home IN the a/c and play out back after dinner when the sun is setting.  This has led to some late bedtimes, BUT it's summer time, so they're entitled to it, right?  I mean, it's light out until well after 9:00pm!! Here's some inside and outside pics...

I think this pretty much sums up June! We were doing fun stuff, I just didn't have time to write about it due to school work.  Maybe I can keep up a little better... until school starts!  Colton will be in kinder in one month, and hopefully I'll be teaching too!  I hope Colton and I share a first day of school!!
