10 months old!

This post is totally 2 weeks late. But not too many new skills have been aquired, so let me give you an update on the littlest member of our family!

At 10 months old, Tyler is just a hoot. This age is SO MUCH FUN.  He feeds himself with his fingers, and boy does the kid like food.  The only thing he will not eat is corn, and eggs.  Colton doesn't like eggs either, but I can assure you that they do not get that trait from their momma!

He doesn't walk yet, but he is cruising the furniture. Everyone was betting he'd walk before his birthday, but now I am not so sure, maybe right around his brithday.

He has finally mastered the sippy cup! I found one of those cute ones with the names on them today. I was so excited to find one that said "Tyler".  Poor Colton, we can never find personalized things for him!

He is a CLIMBER! Up the stairs, on the coffee table, over top of me... anything he can reach, he will climb.

He weighs in right at 20lbs, not sure on the length.  I'm just about to pack up the 6-9 month clothes in the next week or two.  It makes me sad. Seems that 12 month + clothing is more "big boy" style instead of baby'ish.  I guess no amount of hoping will delay the inevitable.  Soon, my baby, my last little one, will be a toddler.  I hoped with all my might that he'd be a baby a little longer, but his baby days have flown by faster than Colton's.

He LOOOOOVES his big brother, but they already have sibling rivalry.  I can see some pretty good arguments in our future. Both of our boys are silly, stubborn, funny, and determined.  They're both incredibly outgoing and not shy, and they're both Mama's Boys!

He talks and makes funny faces ALL. THE. TIME.  He loves his bottle, and that seems to be the only thing he's really attached to.  We don't have a lovey or security item yet.  I wonder what his favorite "thing" will be.

Plans for that first birthday party are chugging along, at least on a sheet of notebook paper.  We've had an uber busy month of June, and we are ready to chill out at home for awhile.  We will head up to Uvalde at the end of July though, that Frio River sure is inviting, and Tyler needs his first river trip!
