It's time for Monster Jam in Corpus again! Unfortunately, we're not able to attend the show. But luckily for us, they have meet-and-greets with some of the trucks around town. Colton had seen the commercials for the show ALL week, so really THANKFULLY for us, we were able to take him out to see the trucks up close and personal. He got autographs and got to talk to the drivers and got to TOUCH the trucks. He was in little boy heaven, he really, really, really loves these trucks- we have about 2 dozen hot wheels versions of these things in our house. Even little Tyler has taken a liking loving to the toys, and got so excited when we saw the real things.
Here is Colton in front of Grave Digger. We saw this one last year too, so Colton looked at it as if it were his buddy's 'ol truck. LOL
Last year:
My, how he's grown!!
Like I said, Tyler liked seeing the real things too!
One day, he'll reach that bumper
Here are the boys with the driver of Grave Digger
Ground Pounder
Look how absolutely smitten he is in there!
I LOOOOVE how Colton is just casually leaning on the tire!
I told this guy that Colton would be so happy being a monster truck driver as his career. The guy tells Colton "go to college" and Colton snorted and laughed through his teeth like, "yeah, right, okay"
He really did have a good day. Much better than last year when I should have been home off my feet! hehe
Shhh.... don't tell Colton, but very soon tickets for this will be purchased in the near furture. This event is one week before his 5th (yes, big number 5) birthday. Tyler will be hanging with Grandma or Nana that day while Mom & Dad have a fun (noisey) day with big brother! Then we will come back and have bday cake with Uvalde family & friends- and party city sells Monster Jam bday party decor. I think he'll be very happy! But that is still 6 months away- the only reason I'm thinking about it is because I'll need to buy the tickets soon.
