Tyler at 8 months old

This post is a week, and one day, late! I had better plans for his photos, because he wasn't too cooperative on THE official day, but it never happened.  These are still cute and document the day.

So let's see.... during Tyler's 8th month of life, we had alot of milestones.  First trip to the pool, started eating some soft table foods, a sippy cup, first Easter, started CRAWLING, and pulling up to a stand. 

He has FIVE teeth! He weighs 18.5 pounds, I think he has passed up Colton's baby stats in weight, but seems to be hitting milestones at the same ages Colton did. Speaking of big bro, Colton sometimes dislikes Tyler's mobility.  He gets especially frustrated when Tyler picks up the trains off of the track.  I usally try to distract Tyler, but I do chuckle a bit.  One day I am sure they'll build a monster train layout together!

Still has little to no hair- what he does have is very light, sometimes looks brown, but we're wondering if he'll keep his blue eyes and have light, sandy hair!

Colton has known how to spell his name for quite awhile, but recently he has been very interested on putting those letters down... on whatever he can get it down on, as you can see.  Train tracks, magna doodle, sidewalk chalk, pens, pencils, markers, crayons... Then I started writing other friend and family names at the top of a piece of paper, for him to copy down.  I think he does fabulous!

Colton is a by-the-pool kinda kid... Tyler... acheived another "first"- a temper tantrum when I took him out of the water!

There's the handsome guy! ;-)  Colton is signed up for SeaCamp at the Texas State Aquarium- get to hang out at the aquarium and get some hands-on, behind the scenes, educational fun for a week's worth of mornings!  All on his own, without ME!!  He's also doing swimming lessons again this year, but later in the summer, when the pool and weather is warmer- May was too cool for him last year!
