Sometimes we all load up and go for a little ride with the windows down after supper. I sometimes take my camera, but not usually because we head into to town- maybe to reaffirm myself that other people DO exist outside of my apartment. (yes, Moms get cabin fever too!)
Anyway, as a change of pace, we headed out of town (it is still so weird not knowing the backroads with my eyes closed around here). We came across a tractor graveyard, if you will. There were about 8 rusty, rotten, old tractors parked in the weeds. I couldn't pass up an opportunity. I really like these, for now I'll get them printed on photo paper, but would eventually love them on canvases!
I also got this shot of this lovely lady. She was fine with me from a distance, but didn't care too much for me getting closer. There was a HUGE red bull out to pasture with them, but none of those shots came out. Nor did any of the shots of the horses we came across. Thos horses were funny, they were beautifully grazing out in the middle of the pasture, with the sun going down behind them. I walked up to the fence, and they nickered and came over to visit! I love horses, and miss mine, but I wanted to get pretty shots BEFORE visiting! That's okay, I know where they all live now! ;-)
