So sad

Today while on our way to church, I noticed the city had mowed where there used to be a decent sized group of bluebonnets... with a closer look, I noticed what was left of the bluebonnets was mainly the stems and leaves.  So that's probably why they were being mowed down.

Bluebonnets and indian paintbrushes are my FAVORITE.  When we buy our home (hopefully just a few more years!), I will get bluebonnet seeds and spread them everywhere, so I have a huge patch in my back yard!!

Hopefully we will continue to get rain for the next year, so they come back again.  We didn't see any in 2009 because of the awful drought!
