Day 2 went much better than Day 1. He cried at first, but dang, the wind is blowing 50mph and the city just filled up the pool last week. I would have cried too! But Colton hung out in the water this time, instead of sitting on the wall like Tuesday. He even chatted with some of the other kids. He did attempt to go underwater, making the funniest faces while doing so, but would only get to his nostrils before popping back up. haha. Here are some pictures, as promised. =) (the captions are supposed to be underneath the pictures)

Here are the kiddies lined up, kicking their legs at the beginning of class.

Here he is making a friend. This little girl tried to get him to dunk a couple of times. I think Colton's best results will come from monkey-see, monkey-do situations.
Now, he is learning to kick his feet to push himself forward.
And now, learning how to kick his legs AND use his arms to move through the water. Its funny to watch 3-4 year olds concentrate on such coordination.

And now learning how to tread water...

Waiting so bravely for his turn!

And now even brave enough to climb up, then back down again (made *ME* nervous!)
Sweetie!
And, because the kids listened so well.... they got to have TWO races to the ropes and back! Hearing the word RACE means Colton now LOVES swimming class!!
