Well, I have my 24 week prenatal sonogram and appointment at 10:30, after that, we're running home, pickin' up the pooch, and heading down the... rather, up the, road to good 'ol Knippa! We haven't been since EARLY FEBRUARY and before that was CHRISTMAS!!! So, now that the day is here... I'm kind of really excited to be going home.
Katie's graduation is Friday- its our LAST EVER Knippa Event! I know other Knippa Alumni read this blog. So no more Purple & White, no more Rockcrushers, no more basketball games, Harvest Festival, or Christmas Program. No more silly tiny school gossip, no more class sizes of 10 or less. Acutally, Katie's class has 15 or 16, the biggest class since mine to graduate 8 years ago, with 16 kids.
When you're there, you gripe about the school, but everywhere I go, people don't quite understand when I say "I went to a small school too".... no, I mean SMALL school- PK-12th grade has the same number of students as your "small senior class" did. lol
Okay, I went off on a ramble! YIKES! Anyway, it will be wierd with no more Knippa events!
My other sister, Sarah, and her husband Zech are having a wedding ceremony in Campwood the next day. They've already been married, but he is in the Army and heading to Iraq so they went to the courthouse the first time, now we all get to see it. ;) and have BBQ for dinner. Can't lose there!
Sunday we'll be going to the San Antonio Zoo with my parents and the graduate. We go every summer, so we figured why we're only an hour away is better timing than when we're 2 1/2 hours away! haha
We'll be back Monday sometime, and I'm sure I'll have plenty of photos to share!
