Why...

...do institutions offer services, then, when you call about them to utilize them, you get the run-around like no such service exists?

I called my distance learning coordinator to set up a time to take my Fren 2312 final, by the deadline Nov 17th. So she tells me to call the testing center to set up an appointment and she would send everything over.

So I call, leave a message, and get a call back in an hour. The call returner was this incompetent person, saying that all they offerred was the CLEP test for Fren 2312. I told him, no, I needed to take the final. So he does not comprehend what I'm saying. So I call Ms Elsa back and she tells me to tell them that I need to take the final. DUH. What did I tell you woman? SO I attempted to call them back, but didn't get an answer, and left a message again, at 3:30, you know a whole hour and a half before the day ends? No one ever called me back by 5pm.

So here I am, still with 2 1/2 assignments left, needing to watch some film about the movie, and take the final by Monday. *sigh* I was hoping to have the homework portion done by tonight, but it doesnt seem like that will happen, so I'm going to get up to that point, try to bombard my Fren professor tomorrow and sneak the movie away from here for a little bit. Wrap up that part of the assignment, Wednesday night, and turn it in bright & early Friday morning. Then review for the final over the weekend...(and meet friends for dinner Saturday night).

Wish me luck that I get ahold of the stupid testing center!

Nov 11-12: Correspondence Fren
Nov 12th AM: get up early so I can do my on-campus French class homework before its due at 11am
Nov 15th & 16th: Study for Correspondence French
Nov 16th-24th: Study for Personality Theories Test & write a history essay & on-campus French class test. Attempt to make contact with two psych class groups to write a 10 page paper together.
Nov 27-28: go home for Thanksgiving, and study for Ab Psych test
Dec 1st: Ab Psych Test, Both papers due
Between Dec 3rd & 7th: four more finals, 3 comprehensive!
Dec. 13th: graduation

Plus parenting, budgetting, Christmas decorating and shopping....I could cry.
