HOORAH! I'm nearly done with school. Though, while I know that deadline is looming, I am not as giddy as I thought I'd be. I still have three papers due, a couple of tests (all with only 3 class sessions left!), and finals of course. I have been told that Dr. Daughtry doesn't make seniors take the final, and if that juicy little rumor is true...then I would get out of TWO finals! I hope its true, oh how I hope its true!
I still do not know what I want to do, post-graduation. I have an itching to go for my Master's degree, but we need a second income for awhile.
I was introduced to the option of working for the dept of family protective services- but not CPS, being an foster/adoption parent social worker. Basically, I would make sure all the necessary paperwork is filled out and that the foster homes are following the rules and are in a safe, working order. However, none of the surrounding three counties we live in (they all meet up right here near our city so its not like a far commute) are hiring that position. We have a friend working for CPS so he helps keep me up to date on their job openings.
Honestly, I've also been looking at Admin Assistants at the local colleges. I am not going to look for a job till after the New Year. I would love to sit back and enjoy the holiday season with my boys. AND daycare will be cheaper (and easier to find) once Colton turns 3 in January anyway. Just know this, plans for baby #2 are in the works for post graduation.
Anyhow, I don't have any new pictures, share worthy anyway. But I am pretty sure that I'll be getting my DSLR in February, so if anyone has any tips as of what to look for...it'd be GREATLY appreciated. I've seen bundle deals out there, I really don't care about the ones with a case, cause I'd get one anyway, I just don't know what lenses I would need. I'd primarily be shooting my family & some landscapes, so tips there would be appreciated as well.
Ah well...off to type my history paper...fun. NOT!
