I can't believe my little darling is 4 years old! Momma had a hard time with this birthday, as he started SCHOOL the next day!!
We started off by doing a little photo shoot prior to the birthday-ness!
All he would say when you asked what he wanted for his birthday was "Monster's Inc"... so we delivered, a quiet Monster's Inc party at home, and Chuck E Cheese for dinner. Nana, Aunt Lindsey, Aunt Sarah & Aunt Katie even found fabulous Monster's Inc presents! Mom made a sad attempt at a MI cake, but the kids thought it was FABULOUS!!! Cake decorating is not a skill I should list on a resume!
We had a quiet birthday because the very next day, both guys started school!!! I was beside myself with worry and feeling sorry for myself. Colton of course, marched off super confident and unafraid. Tyler was a little clingy and hesitant, but we spied on him and he joined in right after we 'left'. He's still a little grumbly, but I think it's a little for show for mom to feel sorry for him, because he's super excited and happy when we pick him up. I've been staying home still since they've started school, tried a few job applications, but nothing has happened or felt right so far. We're hanging in there, I'm still keeping my eyes peeled for the right employment opportunity. Until then, we're just keepin' on keepin' on, and I'm doing the field trip, room mom thing while I can. Its what we do.
