Tyler's birthday

Well, he turned 2, almost 2 months ago, BUT I never posted about it! I guess that's because I spend so much time being a good mommy, I don't have time to be on the computer every day! ;)

SO the weekend before school started, Aunt Lynz, Lexi, Jason, and Nana came down for one last brew-ha-ha before the school year started.  SINCE Tyler's birthday falls during the first week of school (poor little guy)... seemed like a great time to celebrate since we had company!

My baby LOVES ice cream! We can't drive past a DQ without him yelling "YUMMY YUMMY!!"... I also avoid the ice cream row at HEB if he is in tow! 

 After he ate, he kept practicing over and over again with the candles.  He got pretty good at it!

Later in the week we celebrated his actual birthday DAY at home with some chocolate cupcakes, just the four of us.

 

Then we ventured out a few weeks late(r) to take some portraits to mark the milestone.  He was just getting over a stomach virus, so he wasn't the most cooperative!  Which is your favorite? :)

I can't believe my baby is two! I feel like I was just laying in the OB triage, scared about the impending c-section, or maybe it was the first night that Cody went back to work and I was at home, by myself, with BOTH kids!!

It's been such a fast two years.  Slow down time, slow down!!  I feel so blessed to have been able to stay home with them during these first years of their life.
