The fans insist... some funnies!!!

Friday, I took Tyler in for a trim, he came out with a little boy's haircut... no more "baby hair"... I didn't mention anything to Colton when he came home from school. I wanted to see if he would notice it.  Conversation went like this:

Me: "Hey Colton, does Tyler look different?"
Colton: "Yeah, he does.  Does he have a new shirt?"
Me: "Nope, look again"
Colton: "uhm... new... shoes?"
Me: "No, look at his face"
Colton: "Oh! His eyebrows!!!"
Me: "No Colton, what about his head? Does his head look different?"
Colton: "Yeah, it does.  Did it get BIGGER??"
Me: "Okay... what about the hair on his head?"
Colton: "Yeah, I guess it looks different... "

At that point, I caved and just told him Tyler had a haircut!


This afternoon Colton got out of school early.  In his folder was a picture he colored of the Santa Maria.  I asked him if they learned about Christopher Columbus and he said "there are three ships, the Nina, Pinta, and Santa Maria!"
Me: "Very good! Who sailed on those ships.. and where did they sail to? Where did they land?"
Colton: "PIRATES!!! and they came to [in a loud whisper] AMERICA!!!!"

At least he got most of it right, right? lol

Here's some pics from homecoming last week- I made them each a cute little garter... Tyler actually left his on all night and didn't mess with it!
