...I'm now feeling more in peace. I got a sign from above, I believe, yesterday. It seems that teaching is not going to be in my career path after all. I spent time PRAYING, crying, discussing, and letting go of "what everyone else will think"... and feel better.
Now, I don't know WHAT will be in my career path. There is no urgency right now, but I think after the holidays, I will begin scouring want-ads and see if anything sings out to me. I'll keep subbing a few days a week, money for the holidays so we can go to New Mexico, and let Tyler get a little older ;) I've even considered some part-time office jobs (that pay well)- we have a friend who would watch Tyler for us cheaper than daycare, and I can build photography contacts on the side.
So if anyone in the Portland area know of something similar, send them my name!
I won't actively look until after the holidays, but wouldn't be opposed to checking out something that landed in my lap before then.
