Distance

My parents moved to New Mexico in March, Colton has had a hard time gauging the distance, but we talk about it alot.

The other day I was telling my mom about the severe lack of rain, and she proceeded to tell me it has rained everyday in Ruidoso lately.  I told Colton this and he says "we should go visit Grandma then.."  and I told him it was too far to just drie over there... and he says "since you want it to rain so much, we should just move THERE"...

I told him it wasn't that easy of a move, and we'd be far from everyone else also!

So he looks down, sighs, and says "this was easier to figure out when all the grandparents lived in ONE place"

I sadly smiled and said, "yeah, it was."

I miss my parents SO much, but Colton's adult-like matter-of-factness was just so darn cute, especially with those freckles on the nose.
