Babies, babies!

On August 1, we went up to the San Antonio Zoo.  My good friend Julie and her husband and their new baby girl, Alexis, joined us.  It was my second time seeing Miss Lex, but the boys' first and they just LOVED her.  Colton kept checking on her and helped Julie burp her.  I snatched her right up when we sat down for lunch and didn't get much time to snuggle her because I was putting her on display for the boys....

After the zoo, we drove over to see our other friends and THEIR new baby girl Zoe... she's only 3 days younger than Alexis.  Now that there was somewhere to sit, Colton really wanted to hold her.  So I pried her from MY grip and let him snuggle down with her.

Absolutely interested by babies, Tyler could not go without.  So we sat him down and let him hold Zoe too.  He was absolutely beside himself with pure joy!

I wish we lived closer to San Antonio so we could keep a closer eye on these beauties as they grow up, but maybe it's best my two handsome boys have some distance between them and the two princesses.  They were totally infatuated with them.  The baby girls' daddies might have some issues with that in a few years.  But I say 2 boys + 2 girls... mom and dad like the "in laws".... what's to lose?
