Now that the evenings are longer, and cooler than the afternoons, we've spent quite a few evenings driving the police car around. Tyler has a little baby sized power wheels four wheeler, but it doesn't work great in the grass, so the boys usually cruise around together. I love the evenings for photos. I have a tripod photo shoot idea planned for us, I just need everyone in a cooperative mood!
Colton's class went on a field trip to the Fire Station and a picnic lunch at a nearby park. I felt so happy to be able to go as well!
One of the original models of Bigfoot came to town, the boys got autographed photos and got to check out the truck.

aaaaaaaaand! It rained!! You know you live in South Texas when you stand outside for as long as you possibly can before a good thunderstorm comes. We just loved the literal change in the atmosphere, as well as the excitement of it all. Unfortunately, it didn't last long, but we'll take anything we can get! Turns out, looming thunderstorms create great photo lighting too!
and one more funny... I asked Colton to get the dirty clothes from upstairs. Instead of carring them down, he threw them over the banister. This is what I found when I came out of the restroom. Please take note of the undies hanging from the photo on the wall... and Tyler's totally guilty face!
An April update is below! I took my content exam today, and just need to wrap up my final online courses. So hopefully I will find more time to appropriately update my blog. I plan to have a relaxed summer this year, we'll do our travelling the first half to enjoy the lazy days of the last half. I just don't want it to fly by. I will hopefully be working this fall and I just want to enjoy the kids!
