Playdoh

Last week presented us high temps in the 40s, with 20mph winds.  Someone from a more northern state might think that sounds lovely and spring like, but for these south Texans... it is very, very cold.  I'm talkin layers and chili and soup and .... do not go outside unless you have to.

After one day of this, my used-to-going-outside-year round-kids... had gone absolutely crazy.  So I broke out the playdoh.  This is not an everyday toy, I save it for stir crazy days such as these.

Colton LOVES playdoh, and this was Tyler's first time playing with it.  I'm surprised h didn't eat any of it!  We played with it about an hour before it was time to clean up and fix dinner.

you can really tell from Tyler's expressions, it was his first time with the stuff...

Colton LOOOOVES the "spaghetti maker"....
I gotta say that I do too!

Colton and I made all of our names with the letter cookie cutters...he's so good with his letters and the sounds they make

Then we picked up all of the dough, not really single colored anymore... and vacuumed the carpet...

We sure love playdoh, BUT love nice mild winter days more!

How fun! You're a super cool mom! My girls got playdoh for Christmas and they haven't seen it since ;) (Shh... don't tell them. I think they forgot about it!)

I let Lucas play his Playdoh much more these days than I did when he was younger, and I confess, the day the package came for secret santa, was a snow day where Lucas and I were losing our minds together inside the house, and I let him open it, and play with it and it saved my life that day lol. Glad you had some fun and a distraction, 40's is spring like here, but with the wind its still pretty chilly ; )
