I've been worried

That Colton will NEVER adjust. He was just starting to be okay with this little brother thing. Smothering Tyler at times (not with a pillow or anything, LOL, just with being in his face constantly); being jealous and acting up when I was giving Tyler attention (i.e like when we started solids).

Then today. Tyler had rolled over off his blanket and was next to Colton who was decorating Sheila's (the dog) blanket with hotwheels. I let Tyler be, cause he worked so hard to get over there by Colton.

Then I hear "Sheila, quit licking -MY- brother!".... "Stop it!"...."He's MY brother"......

Then I hear giggling and Colton saying "SHEILA!! Don't lick me either!! Don't lick ANYBODY"... then he scooted closer to Tyler.

Its absolutely amazing, and kind of tear inducing, to me to see Colton choose his baby brother over his first best friend. I guess we're gonna be okay after all.

I think God gave me that little boost, cause its been a rough week, and now it doesn't seem all that bad. =)
