Prenatal Appointment- 15 weeks

Hey everyone.

So, I had another prenatal today. I am 15 weeks pregnant tomorrow (I can't believe its already been four weeks since the last appointment!).

Anyhow, I've gained 3 pounds, and my blood pressure is in good shape. Which is good news. PHEW. It was 120-something over 78. Really good for me. Baby is doing good- quite a mover, it took a few minutes to catch the little one to measure the heart rate, but baby's heart rate is 165.

Colton and I have been taking walks down to the park this week, and being outside a lot, so I am sure that is what is contributing to my good blood pressure and slow weight gain. (I'm trying to keep it just "baby weight" because I am still sporting some of Colton's baby weight!)

Next appointment will be at 9 AM on Wednesday April 22nd. At that time I will have my blood drawn to test for down syndrome, etc... oh, and we'll have "THE" big ultrasound!! SO baby's gender: April 22nd!!! I'll let everyone know whenever we get back, but I've got to warn you, we'll most likely stop and pick up a few baby things- for a boy or a girl! So just hold your breathes, I'll keep you in suspense a little longer that day.

Oh, and can I take this time to brag about Mr. Colton? Here lately in town, he's been pushing the rules- or flat out breaking them- in public just because... well, he is three. So I was kind of dreading handling him myself without Cody at my appointment. Well, as usual, he pulled a 180 and was a perfect little angel. Sat quietly in the waiting room watching "news" and sat in the chair in the exam room. He does get scared from the heart doppler, so he stood up and held my hand then, but he was very good and calm about it.

When we left, I told him I was very proud of him for being so good and quiet, and that it made the other people in the office happy too. Then he said "welcome. Now, can I have a new toy? I was a good boy!"

HAHAHA! I didn't even make any deals beforehand- I just instructed him that he HAD to be good! I did buy him some bubbles at walmart afterwards- in case you were wondering!

Anyway, that about sums it up for now. Remember, April 22nd!!!
