One little boy's first time to physically stand in a moving elevator. Big, previously unrealized milestone. Its alright though, Daddy's leg provided great comfort.

He also loves turtles. And we had a quiet visit to the aquarium this morning (we have a membership and can go whenever we want). All summer long we have been fighting crowds, but thanks so school starting this week, it was deserted!
These are the eyes of the most curious little boy in the world. He is always into something, saying "hi" to someone, and questioning a new thing introduced into his life. Would be an amazing photo if my camera didn't create a shadow. February goal: Digital SLR. I have grand dreams of starting my own business- family, senior, baby portraits in outdoor settings- is what I am thinking of. Most people I know probably would roll their eyes at my plans, but oh well. I think I can do it. We're best at something we love, right? It would start as a on-the-side kind of thing, but if life went my way, would be full-time, my contribution to our household income, vs just spending money.
