Wow. So, I am not entirely sure as to what to post on a BLOG. Sometimes I update for my family, but I tried a family blog before and it never worked out.
Well, I'll make an honest attempt at writing just for now, and if I keep it up, I guess I will share the link with others.
I'll start by introducing myself. I am 25, married, and a parent. My husband is a police officer. My first child, a son, is 2 years and 7 months old. I go to college at Texas A&M University Kingsville, majoring in sociology. I will graduate this December 13th, with my Bachelor's in Sociology. I am not sure what I will do after graduation, but anything from public relations to teaching to starting my own photography business (just thought of that one today) have danced around in my mind.
I love to spend time with my kid, and my hus-butt too! I am an amateur hobbyist at photography. I really think I could go further with it, given the budget for a bigger, better, badder camera. I want a Nikon D60, perhaps in the spring with that lovely income tax return, I can splurge. My husband usually gets an upgrade for our car, so maybe I can get a camera and he can do the car thing. Then I can really get started. I mostly love pictures of people, but sometimes, SOMETIMES I can capture the beauty of a flower.
Uhm, we live in TEXAS. I may move around the state before I settle down, but I will never ever leave Texas. We currently live on the coast, but HOME is southwest Texas, about an hour from the Mexican border. I love the border culture I grew up in. I can't imagine a mostly caucasian society.
