I went to "Muffins for Moms" at Colton's school today. The kids were very excited to have a class full of mommys. They worked very hard on some very sweet mother's day gifts... mine is sitting right beside my computer monitor where I can see it each time I sit down!

Back at home, I taught Tyler how to draw his first stick person. I drew one piece at a time and he copied me. Not bad for a beginner! ;) (his is the blue one)
My sister Sarah, sent me flowers for Mother's Day! She didn't have to do that, but I sure appreciate it- love the warm colors in the bouquet!
Since it was a NICE non-school night/non-booked evening, just the four of us went to wander around toys r us (only leaving with a new doodle pad for coloring!), shared some chicken tenders, and enjoyed a cool evening at a park by the water. While we were there, Mother Nature put on a show with a few clouds at sunset!
TWO MORE WEEKS of kindergarten left... I mean, seriously?! FIRST GRADE!!! However, I am excited that Cody's schedule changes to where he will have evenings off for the month of June till the end of July... so we can FINALLY spend some family time together... seems hard to do now that we have to do the school thing... two more weeks and we can spend MANY more evenings this way! (summer evenings are my absolute favorite time of year!)
