... Susan gave me a pep-talk, Cody said "don't worry about it", my mom laughed at me... and I got to buy baby stuff. No no, not for me... for our friends who just had a little girl....plus got some feel good snacks at the grocery store...which was PACKED by the way!
Oh, and Cody said that I could buy that super cute baby blanket at Target. =) So, I will go get it tomorrow. =D Its WAY cute!
The problems I feel that are so gia-normus, well, not much I can do about them except ride them out. Seems like baby sitting is going to be the best option, since I AM staying home with the new baby. $600 will give us quite a bit more money. We're going to Uvalde on the 10th, I have a Doctor's appointment on the 23rd. I think I'll make an advertisement, or talk to the few people I know around the 15th, and set a March 1st date to begin babysitting. That way the moms don't have to find someone on their first day with me for that appointment, and they'll have awhile between appointments to set up a routine with me and their kiddos
Thanks to my friend Brooke Crow, I found out that in Texas you can have 3 un-related kiddos (not counting your own) under your care without a child-care liscense. Sounds perfect to me. I already know two people who would jump on my rates, and I'm sure Colton'd love the company. There are like 8 playscapes here, plus all of Colton's toys (but his trains would be safely put away in Colton-only territory)... I can do that!
Anyway, down-in-the-dumps time over... mostly!
