Colton turns three years old

So, Mr. Colton turned three years old this week! Can you believe it? We had a birthday dinner at Chuck E Cheese and cake and presents at home. He had a great day, and really thought that turning three made him really, really, REALLY big! Who's gonna argue with that?
Anyway, he had his 3 year physical this morning as well, and shrimpy comes in at 28 pounds and 3 foot 1 inch tall. We were very happy to see him finally make the 3 foot mark, but it seems that 30 pounds is still a stretch away, considering that he was 26.7 pounds at his 2 year physical.
His lack of weight sure doesn't stem from a lack of food! He eats every 2 hours around the clock, except when he's sleeping of course. He still naps about an hour a day, and sleeps most of the night, well, once he wiggles his way into our bed.
Its almost like he knew his birthday was coming up and he decided to flip a switch on in regards to his speech and play. Just this week he has been talking clearer and clearer, even strangers can understand him. He has been playing with his imagination alot more, which is so fun and cute- and even more fun for me to play along rather than just driving trucks around in a circle.
But.. .all systems are go and we're looking forward to his 4th year of life to see what it will bring us!
(PS- Totally do not know why my text is this way- its rather annoying if you ask me! It is not my font preference and I cannot take off the underlining. grrr Sorry if its difficult to read)
