That weekend, the guys went 4-wheeling with Uncle Zech, Pipa, and soon-to-be Uncle Thomas. We ladies drove to Abilene to wedding dress shop
The summer library program also wrapped up, probably before we went to Midland, but not too far in advance! The library always ends the program with a pool party for the participants at the city pool after hours. Colton jumped off the high dive!!
We did not travel ANYWHERE else after that, with school looming just 2-3 weeks away! So more bike rides, splash pad & beach visits, indoor bounce houses, and evenings at the park happened.
we tried out some new 'dos for the school year. these were vetoed.
The last Sunday of summer was Tyler's 4th birthday! I did a mini-photo shoot, we had a Monster's Inc cake, and had a special birthday/end-of-summer afternoon at Chuck E Cheese's!
I just can't believe my baby is 4!!! (now, 4 1/2!)
Then the next day, summer was over! *sniff-sniff* and I sent both boys off to school that day. Here's Colton off to 2nd grade & Tyler off to half-day pre-k. Momma had a pretty rough day.
