splurge

splurged on a new stroller! I am so tired of taking the big, bulky, beaten up stroller that went with the carrier, but Tyler doesn't like to RIDE in the umbrella stroller (he prefers to push it, and with no help which usually turns into a big disaster)...

last weekend I went with my friend to the Peddler Show and she had a Chicco Liteway, and I loved it!

It's like an umbrella stroller + a big full sized stroller.  Tyler is not a "walker", he dawdles, messes with things, and does not like to hold hands, so we still regularly use a stroller (at this age with Colton, we only took the stroller for long trips).

This new one has a basket for storage (yay!), the handles are a great height for me (and Cody)- no hunching over like we do with the umbrella stroller, AND it folds up nice and tiny like an umbrella stroller.  It will be GREAT for the mall Christmas shopping and when we go to NM (won't take up a bunch of packing space!)

We played with them at Babies R Us, and I decided to just wait, but then we went to baby depot and it was $25 cheaper! I really liked the blue, but Baby Depot only had the red & grey... can't complain though.

My budgetting self is feeling like someone ripped a bandaid off, because I usually have every purchase planned, I just looked at them because I liked my friend's... and now I have one... not a planned purchase at all.  But I can say we will get our money's worth!  thinking about gettin rid of the big one now?
