Sunday morning the boys woke up to Easter goodies, as usual that bunny knows what perfect timing it would be if the boys had new swim trunks.
I just love these bags, they're a product from the 31 Gifts company. They are the small thermal totes (AKA lunch bags)... these worked out great for Easter baskets. Colton already took his to school with him for lunch this week. I really, really loved this idea for the boys- as opposed to wicker baskets that look super girly and/or cost a fortune and/or get crushed in the closet before next year. Now, hopefully we can keep them clean for a few Easters to come! I plan on using them for long carrides (easy to pack snacks!) in addition to school lunches.
After checking out what the bunny had left, it was time to make breakfast and get ready for church. The boys played with their little trinkets while I cooked. Check out Tyler's pants... lol (and how the clothes are on the floor instead of with the other goodies)
I just wanted to share this photo because I love these jammies on the boys and haven't been able to snap a pic of them. Also, Tyler rarely smiles for photos and he's sharin a grin with us here!
It was great to have Nana go to church with us, I really love our church and have been wanting to share it with my family for awhile now. Afterwards, we came home (Aunt Katie came over too) and we ate a simple lunch of brisket, beans and potato salad. Nana made her pistachio salad and "barf" dip (like queso) because they are my favorite foods she makes for holidays!
Then Daddy and Aunt Katie hid Easter eggs out front and the boys hunted them. Colton loved the challenge, he'd been practicing the entire week before, and Tyler giggled everytime he found an egg. It did not take him long to catch on.
I was able to get a few new "posed" pics...
oops let's try again...
After THAT we played with some cascarones, which Colton LOOOOOOOOVED. Then it was time for Nana to go home and we all settled down with left overs and a good family movie... Tyler slept a couple of hours....
We hope everyone had a great Easter Sunday. We sure did miss the rest of our family though, but will see them soon enough. Until then, I hope they enjoy keeping up with us through the blog and emails. Thank GOODNESS for digital photos, makes long distance sharing soooo easy.

You guys are just so adorable...why were there no pics of Cody though!? =) Mandy, you're looking wonderful and the boys are just super cute, like always! Miss you guys, and hopefully we can make it down your way very soon! Love you! - Julie
What a great Easter you had! I've been wanting to get some 31 Gifts stuff and what a great idea to use them as Easter "baskets"! I just knew A&A would be able to use their first Easter baskets for years (like my sister and I did), but they were quickly destroyed... just like the ones I bought this year, too! Oops!
I need to start checking your blog more often ... I've been out of the loop for so long, that I am lost.
You look GREAT, and the boys are precious :)
