What a whirlwind of a week we've had!
My parents are packing up as we speak and moving to Ruidoso, NM. My other sister is moving to Midland from Houston this weekend. And the sister of mine who lives with us, is moving out to room with some co-workers- on Tuesday. Not wanting to be left out of the fun, Cody and I have decided to move also.
No, that's not the reason why, but you know that was kind of funny. Our lease will be up in April, and with new management for the complex, we've been left to evaluate our options. While we are MORE than emotionally ready to buy a home, just isn't in our financial means just yet. We have decided to downsize to a smaller apartment in a cheaper (but still nice and safe) complex.
Our plan is to cheaply rent my first year of teaching so that my income can cover childcare, reduce debt, and go into savings for a down payment on a home of our own!
Moving, with children, is sure to be scary and stressful...and the smaller size will take some getting used to. However, with the big picture in mind, its a pretty exciting move! In 12-18 months, we could be moving again...for the last time!
