Okie doke, I last posted about Colton's birthday suprise. Since then, we've had really BEAUTIFUL weather, so we did things like:
Played mini golf! this was Tyler's first outing, and one of Colton's favorite things to do! That kiddo definitely has his own form and style... but he always, ALWAYS winds up with a hole-in-one... or a couple of them!
Tyler was taking notes from Bubb all day long!
After mini golf, we headed out to the beach, since we were already on the island. The water is still cold, so we put on some hoodies and let the boys run wild.
Colton wrote his name in the sand all on his own!
We also made several outings to the local parks! I took my camera to practice some things I've been learning in the photography books Cody bought me for Christmas... seriously, one of the best gifts he's ever bought me!
These three photos ^ show an almost crash! If I hadn't called out Colton's name, he would have still been looking for "KILLER WHALES AND SHARKS!!!" in the bay, he would have run his brother over! Thankfully, Tyler wasn't smushed flat like a pancake and everything was A-OK!

He really enjoyed riding down the hill... it took a little more work to get back up.

THEN... the weather went BERSERK the first week in February! SCHOOL WAS CANCELLED and there was NO hurricane!!! haha
We didn't get any snow as predicted, but the ice was pretty exciting for us, as long as we stayed home! Poor Daddy had to work the night before, shuttin down the highway, and the next evening when things were melting. Mommy was very worried about him out on the streets, but thankfully no major accidents or danger was reported. Most residents in our town stayed inside and off the streets!
Friday morning, we bundled up (and we had to wear TONS of layers because we don't have winter clothing) and headed outside to take a peek of everything and I wanted to snap some pictures!

It's funny that you have beach pics and ice pics in the same post! I blog for my girls, so if anyone else reads it or comments, that's just a bonus. I've been meaning to have the first year printed for, well over a year now, and haven't managed to do it yet!
I meant to also say that we're going to have to come visit ya'll! My girls have NEVER been to the beach! Hopefully we can fix that this year!
