This year we started our Halloween festivities off with Boo Bash again. Cody was off in the evenings again this year so got to go with us too! The boys had fun at Boo Bash, both were entered in the costume contest for their age, but didn't win, but that's okay. =) Colton bounced around on all the inflatable slides and jungle gyms, both boys trick-or-treated down the trick-or-treat trail... we visited with friends, just a good 'ol fun time. I can't believe that next year Tyler will be old enough to jump around too!
Sunday night, we trick-or-treated after stopping at Sonic to pick up a few 50 cent corndogs and our favorite sonic drinks! But FIRST, mom had to get her obiligatory photos!!! It was PRIME natural light, and maybe I had planned to have them dressed at this certain hour, for that reason. You can come to your own conclusions about that. Tyler wasn't in a smiley mood, he came down with a head cold this weekend, and wasn't truly happy with the idea of a costume anyway!
Colton's costume is actually vintage. The brown jumper and hood, my mom made those when *I* was four! It used to be a bunny costume, that all my sisters and I, and I think a few other kids wore. A few years ago a family friend's son wanted to be a puppy so off came the cotton tail and pointed ears and on went the spots and floppy ears.
My attempts at getting photos of them together... Tyler was just ready to go. (Colton a puppy and Tyler a skunk)
Trick-or-treat!!!
In just a little longer than an hour, both orange pumpkins came back FULL of candy!!! The boys had so much fun. Colton really loved it this year, and Tyler giggled everytime Bubba knocked on a door, I think he figured out what was coming and was getting excited.
Just for fun, this is my third Halloween post on my blog! Here's a peek at Halloween pasts!
Halloween 2008 and Halloween 2009
I hope everyone enjoyed their Halloween as much as we did! I'm really enjoying seeing all the cute kiddies dressed up!
