Well folks, Colton had his first spring break of his school career. I celebrated too, by turning off the alarm clock, and waking up whenever we just woke up. We started off the week by hitting our two favorite parks on Saturday and Monday.
Tyler was trying to figure out how the water fountain works... Bubba played, and Tyler investigated!

Of course living on the coast, a trip to the beach is a MUST during spring break. Because Daddy was working, Momma took the boys all on her own. Because it was spring break, we just went down to North Beach instead of to the island... it was not as crazy, no college partiers here!
The weather was glorious, the beach-goers were calm and well-behaved... the boys wore their little selves out!
We spent the rest of the week enjoying the sunshine outside and also separating the boys' stuff into their own bedrooms. We aren't moving to a smaller apartment after all. We had moved Tyler to the "empty room" in the pack n play because he was waking up Bubba... and he had stayed there because they were sleeping so well. So since we're staying put a little longer, we gave the boys each their own space.
We finished off spring break at another park with a nature trail Sunday afternoon after church. The boys climbed, jumped, explored, dug, swang, and flew a kite. I took photos of lovely spring surroundings. We went home and had steak and scalloped potatoes, took baths, and hit the hay to get back into the swing of the school schedule!
Check it out, Tyler finally has enough hair to have a few curls. Aren't they precious? And BLONDE?!

I bet Tyler loved having his big brother around during the week!! We FINALLY have a beach trip (Rockport) on the books - end of April! That will be A&A's first time in the sand! Can't wait! Hope it's as pretty as these pictures of yours!
