October (and September) have had us running! I'm very thankful that this coming Saturday we don't have ANYWHERE to be in the morning. There is a Halloween festival tomorrow evening, but my goodness, we don't have to wake up to an alarm clock!!
First of all, we attended Gregory-Portland's Homecoming game. My friend and I made her daughters (ages 6 & 4) and Colton mini mums and a garter.
My goodness, he looks so much older in this pic... (not sure what happened during post-processing)... it's hard to imagine one day he might have a garter as a PLAYER... I can't imagine how tall he'll be then!
They're just so cute!
A few days later, I'm not really sure when... we went to the pumpkin patch. I had great hopes of getting tons of superb shots of my kids... but they thought the pumpkins were MUCH more interesting...
I did manage to get these, and am quite fond of them...

Our jack 'o lanterns... I was really bummed that our weather is not jack o lantern friendly... it did not take long AT ALL for them to rot!
and just two cute shots!
Tyler practicing taking those steps... this was mid-month... he's now getting better and faster! Shoes seem to slow him down though!
Slightly smudged pirate Colton
Colton's school had a Storybook Character Parade today (10/29). Since he's a die-hard fan of Dr. Suess, he dressed up as Thing 1.... and to complete the set, we made Tyler a Thing 2 shirt!
I'm quite proud of their shirts! I made them myself. My mom is quite crafty, and I'm always trying to acheive her talent, without much success. So I'm proud of these! And when Colton was worried about the paint coming off in the washing machine, I grinned ear to ear. He actually LOOOOVES something I made!!!
