they're both asleep...

...so I thought I'd update a bit more!

So lately, I have been on my toes with these two. I didn't think it'd be a big deal, that we'd get through our newborn weeks and we'd just have another person in the mix. Boy was I wrong. Both boys are like night & day. Tyler is still little but boy does he have the personality!

Let's see... we had Thanksgiving here. Katie and I made turkey, mom's stuffing, a pumpkin pie, green bean casserole, and mom also made us one of her FABULOUS apple pies before her and Daddy went to New Mexico for the holidays. Oh, I also made my mother in law's pistachio salad. It was a great dinner!

I got quite a bit of Christmas shopping done.

Colton is so excited about Santa this year! Every time we see a white haired, beared older man, he asks me "how come santa is not at the mall right now?". I tell him its cause Santa is out spying on all the little kids to see if they're being good or not. Sure straightens him up, wouldn't want Santa to see Colton being bad.

I'm pretty certain Cody and I covered Colton's list pretty darn good. We treated ourselves to a new TV- finally upgraded to flat screen/LCD- Cody's worked QUITE a bit overtime lately, and I'd say its money well spent. ;)

Hmm not much else going on. Going to finish Christmas shopping tomorrow. May pick up a few more gifts for each other (Cody and I) closer to Christmas- but I think we've covered our friends and family pretty well. I can't wait to see how happy everyone will be!

Monday night is the Portland Christmas parade. Cody has to work of course, but this year I'll have two kiddos on the sidwalk looking for Daddy in his police stuff! Colton really gets a kick out of seein his Dad "at work"

Shortly after Christmas, we'll have to get Tyler in for his FOUR month check up! I just can't believe it already! Then in January will be Colton (and Lexi's) birthdays! Then February and my birthday and Tyler's 6 month birthday (on the same day)!!! WOW

but that's all for now.. I think I'm gonna lean back with a glass of tea while the house is quiet, maybe watch something on the new TV!
