Moms, bloggers, anyone!

Many of the blogs I read are all about the kids! Here's a challenge... write something about yourself! A paragraph or two, I know its in there somewhere. You CAN have the "I live for my kids/family" (any variation) kind of sentence, cause we all know you do... but remember, MOMS, you are still people in there! I'll start.

I love photography. I used to look at romance/drama books at bookstores. Now I finger through the artistic photography books. I trace my fingers along the shape lines, especially in black and white photos. I dream of having a business to where I say "I can't have any bookings today because my kids have a big out of town soccer game".

I never thought I'd have a blog, or a myspace, or a facebook. But turns out, I love them. I can say whatever, I can post whatever, I get compliments on my pictures. I never, in one million years, thought I'd have 45 best friends, several of whom, I may never get to meet in person. I am talking about a parenting forum I joined when Colton was a baby. Its small, and we all know each other like best friends.

I never thought I'd miss Uvalde so much... then I had babies and realized I want them to be near their grandparents. I didn't ever think I could cook like my mom, but I've been trying some of her tried and true signature dishes, and have been doing pretty good at them!

I stay up selfishly late in the evenings, usually with a little snack I stashed for myself. I'm proud of my degree, and graduating with honors. I want my master's! I still don't know what I am going to "go to work" as next year (hence the longing for my own photography business).

I have mental sketches of THE house I will buy, and secretly catalog all my furniture choices in this special little closet in my head... but I KNOW that when the day comes I get to fill up THE house... I won't know what to buy!!!

I love shopping second hand and sales. I love the rush of outbidding someone in the final seconds of an ebay ad!

And of course... I love my two sons more than life itself, and have dreams of Texas Friday Night high school football, and honors college graduates. I dream of Colton being some major car mechanic (who drives a fully restored 1972 mustang to work, a black one), or a famous designer, like his idle Chip Foose. Mustangs are his FAVORITE car, he can ID them almost any year, the boy LOVES muscle. Though, he seems more intrigued by the engine than the exterior. I see Tyler involved in college sports, if not pro. He's still little just yet, but he's so alert, always wanting to know what is going on. He is going to be my social butterfly. He is going to work with lots of people (that's the reason why I see many sports teams in his future). I love my husband, and LOVE telling people he is a police officer. Most people don't know how to react! I love that my boys, look just like him! I love that he loves ME.
